True Passive Income Takes Work Up Front Like Getting That Hot Body
Just keep sitting on your couch and spending your hard earned money on get rich quick courses and the next great diet fad!
Online marketing and many other passive income methods takes lots of work up front. Just like being or getting fit and getting in shape.
You have to put the work in upfront and be consistent to get the desired results.
One passive income stream I would like to go over in the post is Affiliate Marketing. Where you partner with companies and market their products or services and receive a commission when someone has clicked on your custom link and buys.
This does not affect the price to the customer and you are rewarded for getting the companies customers and helping customers find the right product or service that fits their needs.
An example would be my affiliate relationship with Amazon. When I put up a link about a book or product and someone clicks on it and buys in the next 15 or 20 hours I receive a commission from Amazon.
See below this for why this is not always the best option.

With Amazon Affiliate program the commissions are very very small. For an example, if some of you were to click on this and buy the book, I would make about .50 cents to a $1.00.
I really recommend using this program for recommending or doing reviews on high ticket items in the range from $100 to $500 dollars. Except in computers, the commission percentage is also very low on electronics. It is still better than books.
In most of my posts, I only do a book link here on Steemit because I have found many Steamians do not like affiliate programs.
Which leads me right to my next point
Do not be spammy in your affiliate marketing and promoting!
Work together with your audience and bring them value.
This will show that you not only care about your audience but you are there to help them succeed and as a by-product you are able to succeed as well.
So by putting in the work developing your audience list or tribe researching the products and services and creating good content you can reap the hot body results in passive income.
Affiliate marketing is just one form of passive income I decided to talk about this one because it has the lowest cost of entry. You do not have to buy a house to rent out or have a few thousand to invest in cryptocurrencies. To start getting a good ROI.
Yes you can and I recommend you invest and Cryptocurrencies are an option. You can even get apps like eTorro and invest smaller amounts and get help via the social aspect to see who is doing well and follow how they are investing.

Now in order to really earn a passive income from affiliate programs and marketing, you will need to set up places that customers and readers can be directed to again and again to keep generating sales. Then you will reach bodybuilder status!
These places can be blogs, YouTube / Dtube channels, forums, and searchable social media forms like Pinterest.
FaceBook and Instagram, even LinkedIn are also good for driving traffic but not organically as much as the others. You get better results from boosting posts and creating ads.
