In the Financial System, On one hand, we have "Central Ledger's", which are the legacy Payment Networks of the old world -- and on the other hand, we have Blockchain Technology, which is the new "open & secure" peer-to-peer decentralized ledger.
Now, Ripple & San Francisco based Bitfury, have teamed up AND are releasing new code that uses Lightning Network with Interledger, to conduct transactions NOT ONLY, between different cryptocurrencies, but also between the traditional financial systems' central ledgers, such as PayPal, Alipay, & those lame old Bank Accounts.
So, how does connecting traditional bank accounts and PayPal accounts, to the blockchain, effect cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin?
And, if bank account hooks up to a blockchain in the woods, and there's no Lightning Network to connect it, do we know if it works yet? Let's Discuss!
