I’m finally seeing the results of saving money and spending time on things I truly enjoy. I have solid dough in my bank account, and cash on hand. I have a plan for the near future, and the winds of change are blowing. I have a lot to take care of before June hits, but I feel like I’ll make it happen. I’ll make something happen no matter what, I suppose.
Joel’s album is sounding really good, and it’s likely that he will let me share some tracks on here — I would obviously share any profits with him, if any reasonably serious profits accumulated. This collection of songs is meant to be sort of a personal thing for Joel and his family to have as a snapshot in time of his songwriting and performance. We finished recording at my place last week, and I just finished my bass tracks on all 12 of his songs yesterday. Joel has a lot of influences, but Bob Dylan definitely comes to mind. Gritty singer/songwriter material, definitely worth a listen. Centered around pop and blues, for the most part. It’s been a pleasure recording and playing on his tunes.
I’m realizing lately that STEEM can really be quite lucrative! Maybe not in dollar amounts (lately), but I’ve been playing the slow game with STEEM, on a base of very little investment, and have acquired nearly 1,000 STEEM in the year that I’ve been here. Most of that is from posting, interacting, and otherwise “Steeming”, however I got a solid ROI from both SteemMonsters and DrugWars. I’m excited to see what this whole NextColony thing is about. One year ago, my STEEM holdings would be worth $4,000! I’m stoked about that, and I’m optimistic about the open book that is this technological field (blockchain) and this growing market (cryptocurrency).
