The street was wet and empty of traffic. The man looked at his wife – she was still crying. He pulled off his coat and wrapped it around her shaking shoulders.
Her skin was hot to touch, he noticed as he removed his hands from her shoulders and stood, watching the rain patter on the pockmarked road. The cracks in the road reminded him of a bullet riddled corpse, the water pooling inside each hole – blood pouring out.
He sighed and opened the umbrella. He touched her and both of them walked to the car.
It is awesome that this contest has taught me deep rooted patience already. Truly I have not been as patient all my life as I have been taught to be in this magnificent contest, this I would say is one of my greatest steemit transformation and I dedicate it to @dobartim.

GINA is going to be a microservice app very soon which will allow for easy scalability as well as a smoother development of new features, and keeping existing ones up to date. This will reduce the stress on the RPC nodes I am connected to as GINA makes around a million calls every day to provide you with all the detailed notifications which you make use of.
A Horror Story with a Happy Ending
Many users ask me, "why should I care for self-notifications?"" (When you upvote, comment, etc.) I always say that having options is better than not having them. Just because you don't need something, doesn't mean that someone else won't have a use for it.
My theory was confirmed a few days ago when @therosepatch's account got hacked and she started receiving unexpected comment and vote notifications for her account. Luckily, she was able to change her keys before the scammer did! If it weren't for GINA, it could have been worse!
Here I am back with part #2 of the St. Paul shipwreck if you read this posts for the first time here is a quick recap. I am from Croatia and I am an archaeologist who is currently working as a tourist guide in Dalmatia.
The shipwreck I am writing about here lies on the seafloor near Mljet island in the south of Dalmatia. The ship dates back to the 16th century and was a Venetian merchant ship. The trading vessel was caught in a storm and ran aground in the shallows near Mljet island.
We decided that we need some way for our members to BuddyUP.
Some people find it difficult to get involved in general chats and others don't spend much time getting to know others personally. After a little bit of thinking, the idea to make a BOT that would pair users together was born.

The goal of "Last Pop" is to advertise, empower and promote communities through a simple game.
You buy a water balloon that has a vice mechanism on it.
Each one is preloaded with a certain amount of cranks. I roll a varying series of dice and crank the balloons. When they hit a certain number they pop.
We go in the order of those who bought in first goes last.
So if User A buys before User B. User B always gets their cranks done first. So A would win if B pops!
Like before you can buy back in AFTER signup until there is 10 balloons left.
