Surprisingly, the Colombian police has tweeted about this dog himself and informed the people about it. German Shepherd Sombra has worked in the Columbia Police Department for the past two years. According to the media report, with the help of this dog, police arrested 245 criminals. Please tell that the duty of Sombra is at two big airports.
According to the report, for the first time, Sombra resolved the first case in March 2016. Then that dog had seized 2958 kg of cocaine kept hidden in the banana box because of the special ability to smell.This box was being smuggled in Belgium. Subsequently, in May 2017, Sombra seized 1.1 tons of cocaine being sent to Belgium.
After this, 5.3 tons of cocaine was also caught. Sombra runs in bulletproof carriage. It also has 2 special gunmen. Dogs are kept on duty for about 6 hours in the peak hours at the airport. Police personnel working with dogs say that it is much faster than other dogs. The age of the dog is about 6 years. She is quite famous in Colombia.
