Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which the Chinese company sells like hotcakes, has received a permanent price drop of Rs. 1,000 in India. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Review) price in India now starts at Rs. 9,999.
The announcement was made by Xiaomi India Head Manu Kumar Jain on Sunday through his Twitter account. "We are announcing a permanent price drop of Rs. 1,000 on India's #1 selling smartphone: #RedmiNote4 [sic]," Jain tweeted.
As a result of the price cut, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 with 3GB RAM, 32GB storage is priced at Rs. 9,999, while the variant with 4GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage is now available at Rs. 11,999. The price drop is applicable on both Mi.com and Flipkart. Furthermore, the latest price drop makes the Redmi Note 4 a more competitive option against models like Moto G5, Nokia 5, and Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016).

Flipkart offers for Redmi Note 4

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 in India back in January. The Shenzhen-based company launched the Redmi Note 4 in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB variants at launch. However, the cheapest variant has not been available in the country for a long time.
