like wow, this month has completely blasted past, kinda of crazy really because we were trying to avoid ‘the april’ because @dayleeo was heading back and now we are heading to the end of it and the weather is due to drop back down to below temperatures — kinda sucks, i guess that’s spring or summer over then eh? typical england.
anyway, positivity, motivation monday. i know a few of you might be suffering and pissed at the ‘weekend not being long enough’ — which i don’t kinda get because it’s 48 hrs and you can get a lot done in that amount of time if you really set your mind too it.
i had an awesome week last week here on steemit, really felt like i got into some new fresh communities. i’ve always loved the @dlive team and then i got to meet the #onelovedlive squad who are awesome, so empowering and friendly -- i'm hoping to get to know a few more of those steemians this week, i followed a bunch and i found some new vloggers to watch too.
today i’ve got two things on my mind, templates (which i never got around too because i’d only got 4hrs 20 minutes sleep on saturday night) and finishing up the lessons to shoot for the course.
then i think tomorrow and wednesday i can start to shoot those, thursday we have a streaming test as well, i’d like to get the @steemhunt main developer on video chat at some point as well as video to put on @dtube.
very thankful for platforms like @dtube, @dlive and @steemhunt this week — just three very powerful parts of the steem blockchain that have single handedly made me want to switch to decentralised platforms full time.
purely based on the hard work and regular improvements the teams are pushing, they really are doing some great work when you consider the size of other centralised projects on the web — so glad that we don’t have marketers in the mix as the middlemen.
currently i’m in the local cafe, the light is beaming in through the window and it’s just perfect, a slice of warmth on my left hand, i’m really enjoying waking up early again, alarm goes off at 7am and i’m dressed and out by 7:30am taking a walk to have a proper latte to wake me up — today, i’m having a nice treat because i have a doctors appointment so i want to get the blog and momentum in early.
i’m going to record the first top 10 of #earthday products probably today, it might be a bit rough and ready but i think i need to just get started and see how long it takes me, see how i can optimize that so i can capture the majority of things from the browser, have all of the things open on tabs and then just capture the screen for each one.
also on for this week is the major tidy up project in the van, i need to find some space to put everything i sort and i need to start looking at a way to either give it away, sell it or even barter — ideally in the next month i’d like to have everything downsized to the bare minimum so i can throw it in a backpack and go, that means clothes getting thrown and technology downsizing too.
ideally i’d like to be heading over stateside for a few weeks in the next few months, june and july are pretty intense price wise so that might not happen purely on price but i’d like to be there in the next few months to break up the next six months and we also have visa stuff and paperwork to sort out, maybe even a few trial runs of some trailers if they do that.
in today’s @dtube daily vlog i wanted to talk about the rise of app banks and how both my monese, revolut and monzo card have really helped me keep on top of my banking in the last month and why everyone should ditch their frustrations of their current banks and swap BUT I think I’m gonna keep it real and talk about the doctors trip and while it’s important to just have things checked out! :) keep it real this morning! :)
i think i’m done for this mornings blog, time to drop the laptop back, setup the computer to record for @dtube when i get back from the doctors. today is gonna be a good day, i’m glad i got that extra sleep last night so i’m super wide eyed and bushy tailed and ready to get it, can’t believe that i have fifty video shots to get too — 5 hrs of recording content ahead!
