Criminal ransomware start to ask for Monero cryptocurrency instead of BitCoin.
In the latest brute-force campaign against WordPress sites around the globe,
attackers asks for ransom in Monero cryptocurrecny .
According to Worldfence security firm 190,000 WordPress sites was attacked.
Monero become favorite for attackers because unlike BitCoin its algorithm
encrypt transaction details such as wallet address so the transaction data in the Blockchain is also encrypted.
Also Monero price gone up it was 132$ on November and now it is 395$.
Monero developers claims they develop a coin that keep the identity and privacy of the users private, And for most cases users use the coin for legal purpose. but in the same time they can not prevent from
criminals to use it.
