What is Monet?
Monet is a public network architecture for mobile blockchains and an open-source infrastructure that allows groups of people involved in any task or activity to form temporary networks with their mobile devices and coordinate themselves without trusted third parties as intermediaries.
What does Monet aim to do?
Monet wants to develop a system that can eliminate the intervention of the third party and provide the users with a full- time basis. More specifically, Monet intends to create “free” smart contracts for the important utilities that support the network called: ID directory, Peer discovery and Light-clients.

MONET Hub is a special kind of blockchain in MONET as it is always on. The first applications on top of Monet Network will be able to capitalize on Monet HUB. The HUB operators form as a group of node validators all engaged in a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism. When anyone becomes a validator on the Hub, he or she can deploy their own services on the MONET Hub, or even create their own hub for that matter.

The Tenom token will be used to incentivize validators(nodes) in the network throughout the Proof of Stake portion of Monet’s consensus mechanism. All Transactions fees within the network are paid in Tenom.
