If you have a front yard or driveway or even just have a car, you can ‘rent’ those spaces out to people and businesses that want to use that space for advertising. It might be a company that wants to put a sign up in your front yard or a brand that small business that would want a branded sticker to go on your car. But these things can pay relatively well, especially if you do it quite regularly. This kind of thing could be the extra to cover some bills or the groceries, for instance, and you have to do very little to get it.
Buy To Let Properties
Property seems to be one of the best ways to generate an extra income, as there are always going to be people that are looking for somewhere to live. So if you are able to get another mortgage, then looking for investment properties could be a good way to make a second income. The good thing about it is that you own the property, but you won’t be the one paying for the cost of the mortgage each month. That will all be covered by the tenant renting the property. The chances are there will be something leftover each month too, meaning a second income for you. Plus, it will get you higher up on the property ladder, and you could even look to do this multiples of times. You will have to be the landlord, or sacrifice some of the income for an agent to manage it. But other than that, it can be pretty straightforward.
Network Marketing
If you are on social media, then it would make sense to be making some money if you can, right? The rise of many different network marketing companies has lead to many more people being able to make an extra income from home. With friends and family buying the products that you’re selling, it isn’t necessarily a hard sell. But what you get out of it is what you put into it. So it could just be a side business or could grow and grow and become a bigger business.
