You’ve been told…
Go to school. Get a degree.
Or, get a trade. Get a good job.
Work hard for 40 years. Retire and enjoy life.
If not exactly that, something pretty close.
Why?
Why do I have to wait to retire to enjoy life?
Why hasn’t the school system truly prepared you for the “real world?” (OK, too big a topic for this short article.)
But in the words of the late great entertainer, “Prince”, in his song “Let’s Go Crazy” he said, “I’m here to tell you there’s something else.”
And it’s not the after-life! (R.I.P)
I’m not interested in “retirement” at some age dictated by my employer on someone else’s terms.
And, if you follow society’s dogma, that’s what you’re in for.
But there IS something else.
I’ll start here….
Creating wealth is a process, not an event. (You may have heard me say this before.)
As part of that process, I suggest you have a strategy for exponentially growing your net worth and being wealthy enough to retire in 3 – 8 years Yes, it’s doable using a simple process.
Today, people that retire in their 50s have the prospect of living long enough that their “retired” life is longer than their supposed “working life.”
Or what if you retire in your 40s, like I did. (I guess I’ve partially come out of retirement for the fun of doing this.)
How?
Well, for one, taking a portion of my investment funds and putting them into high-risk, high-return investments in the small cap stock arena and now, I’m including Cryptocurrencies in that same realm.
I’ve used strategies for buying very particular stocks, some for mere pennies, that have potential gains of 1100% and more!
The key is knowing how and what to speculate in and when to get in and out. Sound easy, right? Well, not so much.
There are over 3,000 of these small cap stocks and hundreds of Cryptos. Of them, about 90% are junk! You should NEVER touch them.
There are two ways to go about “knowing” what and when. Doing it yourself or, hiring someone to do it for you.
I do both, but generally, I like to subscribe to independent, paid services, with a GREAT track record in both up and down markets. There are many services out there, most of which are also garbage, so you must be careful.
I’ve made it my business for many years to know who to trust and who not to trust when it comes to putting my hard-earned money on the line.
So here’s the point…
I just said a “track-record” – This is hugely important to me. Now in the arena of Crypto, there aren’t many people I’d trust because none have been around that long. But there are some.
You need to do your research and be sure you know what you’re getting into before you allow someone to advise you in matters of money.
Watch them closely for a time. Look back on what they’ve done in the past and for how long.
Once you’re confident with your choice, DON”T speculate with money you can’t afford to lose.
Don’t use your rent money to invest or speculate.
You need to be able to sleep at night.
Have a plan for getting out, BEFORE you get in!
