Hey Jesstrippers
I'm sitting here at my PC going through all my emails, catching up on work after a bachelor party weekend. While the weekend like this for most would be one of drunken debauchery which it very much was for me, it put me on a certain thought pattern I could not shake. As I sat there watching this stripper entertain the band of drunken guests all I kept thinking of was what is your real motivation do choose this as your job.
Perhaps you enjoy being naked and being objectified and there are people who like it and by all means, if thats your thing more power to you. But I think for most its purely an economic benefit, its very little time and work for money that you would not earn doing other tasks you are qualified for.
If we broke down a strippers hourly rate it would match only a few high powered CEOs monthly salaries in terms of time spent vs money earned. Not many people can be a CEO of a major company, the barrier to entry is high, I get that so I wondered what are you doing with this money.

Earning Income or putting your income to work
So you're making a reasonable amount of money from your shows and if you would like you could do other work during the day, that doesn't involve getting your tits out and use these incomes to supplement various investment opportunities. As a cash-rich individual you could take advantage of a number of opportunities as opposed to someone with a salary who needs to wait each month to make moves.
Setting up various passive income streams that will compound as you still have a strong earning potential. I'm not really sure how long a strippers career is but I don't think its earning potential is high for very long unless you offering "ancillary services".
I mean if you're going to perform what some would consider a demeaning job, surely you'd want to use that to strive for financial independence and know it was all worth it because you'll never do it again.
So why aren't more strippers more financially sound?

Living rich instead of being rich
Could be a number of reasons, a kid, drug habit, supporting a family, high debt but it also could be a poor financial education. The majority of the world do not have financial education, so giving someone more money doesn't make them more responsible with money. The money earned is often money squandered because we weren't taught how to use it.
When money comes easy, it leaves even easier. What I'm trying to say is most people have that Strippers mindset, its no different in the way a lawyer, doctor or the secretary sees the salary they receive. In fact, you are all Strippers, stripping yourself of opportunities by not using the money you earn, effectively enough.
I guess it would only be me thinking of financial literacy when someones shaking their bare naked ass in front of me, oh well.
