Why I selected @good-karma name?
The minute I find out about #steemit, I was impressed with a new way of #blockchain tech being used. And purpose is genuine, liberate, appreciate, love people.
So I call upon whoever is reading this - to be, grateful, love each other, after all we have these tools to make our life better, and I am really greateful that #steem / #steemit taking it to the direction where blockchain ideology started and what it really stands for.
I think it is alright to think about #money because that is also one thing that came to be because it made life easier. But sometimes we carried away with other ideologies so that we forgot why this all started in the first place. Recently in #blockchain world I noticed that, a lot of new users driven by #profit, making quick #money, #investment for #retirement, etc. These things are there already when you do honest work. Do good deeds, support common cause.

a man of good acts will become good, a man of bad acts, bad;
he becomes pure by pure deeds, bad by bad deeds;

I don't see karma is being related to just Hinduism, Buddhism but rather it is universal knowledge that shapes human nature and action. You want to do good so that you get rewarded as a result. Sometimes you want to do bad for brief moments when your judgment is clouded, but that's alright too. Recognize that moments and improving out behavior is, what makes us human.
