Spruce, standing alone in a snow-covered meadow.
Is it lonely and lonesome? Or proud to stand strong on its own, uninhibited from its neighbors?
Spruces tend to grow very close together. They protect each other from the elements, from the cold and strong wind. Yet, they at the same time steal light from others. A compromise, like most things in life are.
Growing on your own gives you all the energy yet you are not protected by your group.
Draw your own parallels ;)
