Continuing on with our "artistic" series of photos, we're now on Day 3 of trying this as a daily challenge done on behalf of the Red Dragonfly Gallery. So, here's what I came up with:
"Snacktime!"
Even though we are in a quite obviously urban area — the Gallery is in the heart of downtown — we see some interesting things.
Spotted this fellow on the grassy area outside the Post Office, quite calmly eating his dandelion leaves... in spite of people coming and going all the time. This is really a very "green" and animal friendly place, as a result of which much of the wildlife has become "semi-tame." This little guy probably has far more reason to worry about coyotes than people or cats.

The unusually high winds we've been having continue, and that seems to be keeping people indoors. Sadly, today was yet another day of few visitors, and we only had a couple of very small sales — well below where we need to be.
Spent a good part of the day working on some old bookkeeping stuff; might as well, while things are so slow. It's a little alarming to think that in years past we did usually have a bit of a boost for the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas.
Meanwhile, our neighbor with the candle and incense store says her days are still about half what she used to expect in years gone by. At this rate, we'll all end up looking for new occupations!
