Once again, I don't just pick quotes I like and agree with. What is this quote about? It tells us that those living immoral lives, that is, live with a bad morals, doing things that the average people claim to be bad, have a lower sense of morality, which means they are having a better time.
Do you agree with that? Will life be more fun if you live with a lower moral sense? I don't think so. Of course, morale tells us that you shouldn't combine drinking and driving. If you live with lower morals, you might drive even though you drink... and it might give you a better time because you can drive to the party and you can drive home after the party. You can drive your friends, and you have more liberty, and it sounds and feels better... until it comes with some consequence.

Stealing, cheating on your spouse, or other activities is fun, in a way, and you might say that it gives you a better time. But, something is happening on your inside as you do such activities. It will harden your heart, because that is what "cheating" does. Instead of having a soft heart, you will get hardened, and it will impact you in one way or another. It might feel good in the moment, but when it gets discovered, or when you see your spouse loving you and doing the uttermost to please you, while knowing that you do the opposite, it will not have a good effect on you in the end.
So, what's up? I don't believe lowering your morale will make you happier, rather the opposite!
