وبهذه النتيجة ارتفع رصيد الفريقين إلى 20 نقطة لكل منهما حيث ان تشيلسي بدورة ارتقى الى نفس النقطة بفوزه غير أن الصدارة عادت إلى السيتي بفارق الاهداف

ولم يتغير شيئا حتى الدقيقة 86 عندما احتسب الحكم ركلة جزاء لسيتي إثر عرقلة ساني داخل منطقة الجزاء فنفذها الجزائري رياض محرز الذي لم يفلح في اعطاء التقدم لفريقه والفوز وأطاح بها عاليا نحو المدرجات وانتهت المباراة بنتيجة سلبية بلا غالب ولا مغلوب
