The boundary is simple and well defined. When a person reaches adulthood and can’t feel the suffering of others, it’s a major sign that he is devoid of a common human trait called empathy.
Feelings of entitlement may surpass the ability of society to furnish the wants he feels entitled to. This individual may use his lack of remorse to extract from others, through any means, whatever he demands.
Conscience is a universal regulator of human behavior. When absent, the result for society is chaotic, with victms left to ponder about victimization by predators.
Not all those who lack conscience act contrary to the will or benefit of society. Many act as if they have empathy and can feel eachother.
وقد تتجاوز مشاعر الاستحقاق قدرة المجتمع على تقديم الرغبات التي يشعر بأنه يستحقها. قد يستخدم هذا الفرد انعدام الضمير لاستغلال الآخرين، بأي وسيلة، مهما ضن انه يستحق.
الضمير هو منظم بشري للسلوك الانساني. عندما يغيب، فإن النتيجة للمجتمع هو الفوضى، مع ترك الضحايا تتأمل ظلم الفترس.
وليس كل الذين يفتقرون الضمير يتصرفون بما يتعارض مع إرادة المجتمع أو منافعه. فالعديد منهم يتصرفون كما لو كان لديهم التعاطف و كما لو كان بامكانهم الاحساس ببعضهم
