The Royal Armed Forces (FAR) are the fifth most powerful army in the Arab world after Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Syria, according to the latest Global Firepower ranking.
This is the second time that Morocco appears in this ranking. Last year, the kingdom managed to position itself, for the first time, in seventh place in the Arab countries .
