أهم الأخبار الخاصة بالبيتكوين و التى يتم تداولها فى هذه الأوقات ، تصريح رئيس واحد من أكبر صناديق الاستثمار فى الذهب و الفضة ( Ned Naylor-Leyland ) ، الذى تقدر إستثماراته بحوالى 220 مليون دولار أمريكي بأنه غير وجهة نظره فى الاستثمار فى البيتكوين وقرر استثمار 5 % من المحفظ الإستثمارية للصندوق فى البيتكوين ، على أن يتم إعادة إستثمار الأرباح فى الذهب و الفضة .
لايتوقف الأمر عند كون استثمار 5 % من اموال احد أكبر صناديق الاستثمار فى العالم الى بيتكوين انه أمر أيجابيا ، و لكنه يعني ان هناك تحول فى نفسية الأسواق تجاه البيتكوين وهو الأثر الأبعد مدى ، حيث كانت كل التصريحات خلال هذه الفترة من مؤسسات مالية كبيرة ، مما يعني ان البيتكوين أصبح قادر على لفت أنظار الجميع مما سيجعله قادر على تطوير قيمته حول العالم ، من خلال جذب المزيد من استثمارات المؤسسات الماليه الكبرى فى العالم ، و هو أمر خطير جدا فى تطور أسعار البيتكوين فى الفترات المقبلة .

هذه المرة التصريحات جاءت من احد المؤسسين المشاركين ( Max Levchin ) لمؤسسة Paypal فى حديثه عن البيتكوين .
