Have you ever woken up feeling like the world is just too heavy? A few months ago, that was me. I was stuck in a rut, feeling disconnected and overwhelmed by life’s endless demands. Depression crept in, whispering that I wasn’t enough, that my efforts didn’t matter.
Why I Felt This Way
For me, it was a mix of things: missed opportunities, scrolling through curated lives online, and feeling like I was shouting into a void. I learned that depression often comes from isolation, self-doubt, or losing sight of what lights you up. Maybe you’ve felt this too, those moments when the spark just fades.
Finding Light on Hive
Then I found Ecency and the Hive community. I posted my first story, raw and unpolished, about chasing a dream that felt out of reach. The comments poured in, not just upvotes, but real words of encouragement. Someone said, “Your story hit me hard. Keep going.” That was my turning point. Hive reminded me that my voice matters, and so does yours.
You Are Not Alone
If you’re feeling depressed, know this: you don’t have to carry it alone. Share a piece of your heart here, write, create, connect. As Maya Angelou said, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” Let Hive be your space to rise.
