Perseverance is a great element of success. If you only knock long enough and loud enough at the gate, you are sure to wake up somebody.

Genius will not and will never; genius and being unrewarded is almost a proverb. Even education will not; we have a world full of educated derelicts.

The most essential factor in life is persistence - having the determination never to allow your energy or enthusiasm to be dampened by the discouragement that must inevitably come.
I've known entrepreneurs who were not great salespeople, or didn't know how to code, or were not particularly charismatic leaders. But I don't know of any entrepreneurs who have achieved any level of success without persistence and determination.
Lets take a look at a stone cutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred-and-first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not the last blow that did it, but all that had gone before.
If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.
