In this article, you will learn how to use your brain, to program it to overcome your fears, so that it is much easier for you to confront it. It may even force you, it will be nice for you to face your fears, after applying several times the exercise that I will share with you.
Your fears will no longer be a blockage for you, but a challenge, an exciting adventure to live!
All thanks to the magic of your brain ...
To overcome his fear, one must already understand the magic of the human brain
The human brain is extraordinary. Here it is, in some figures:
You have 60,000 thoughts a day, one thought a second;
Your brain contains 100 billion neurons, more than 14 times the total number of people on Earth;
If we put end to end each fiber of your brain, we would have a wire of 180 000 km long, which could do more than 4 times around our beautiful planet;
The information travels at 430 km / h, faster than a Formula 1 launched at full speed.
Your brain is a real machine of war, more powerful than any invention of the human being. Even the newest technologies released in the United States and Japan do not compete with your brain!
It is a concentrate of power, energy, strength, with incredible potential!
If you learn to master your brain properly, you will be able to go crazy. In particular, to dare to face your biggest fears, since that is your goal.
Unfortunately, no one has ever taught us how to use it effectively. Although this should be mandatory, we did not receive the "Brain Directions" when we were born.
At school, we are taught mathematics, French, history, but never to program our brain. By using it correctly, we could learn in 1 year what we learn in 3 years at school, without having to work more.
Today, we are going to learn how to use our brain, not to learn lessons, but how to overcome fear, since that's what interests us, is not it?
Do you know that the human brain makes no difference between the experiences you imagine, and the experiences you actually live?
For example, when you are in a dream, you are convinced of being in reality. It is only after waking you that you realize that it was only a dream.
In your brain, everything you imagine is considered real. Therefore, you can experience certain emotions for totally imaginary things.
For example, have you ever awakened with a start, heart-packed, following a bad dream? Or to stress for a job interview, a week in advance? Or for a date?
These things were not real since you had not experienced them yet. Yet the stress was there!
There is an intuitive part of you, which specialists commonly call "right brain", which manages all your emotions.
This part constantly creates associations between the situations you live, and the emotions you feel.
For example, if you approach this sublime man or woman in the street, and you feel a strong sense of fear, frustration and panic, then your right brain will associate this situation with intense emotional pain.
The next time you want to dock a person in the street, you will be blocked by your fear.
At the conscious level, you'll just say, "I'm shy."
In reality, you have associated intense fear with a social situation. And unfortunately, this is done automatically!
The problem is not rational but emotional.
At the rational level, you can repeat yourself hundreds of times "I am confident", if emotionally you have validated "I am panicked when I approach a person I do not know", you will still be blocked by your fear .
I will share an effective exercise to program your brain to dare to face your fears. At the same time, you will be much more comfortable in a destabilizing situation.
Exercise to overcome fear
Here is an exercise that will allow you to validate emotionally "I am confident", without really confronting you with your fears, based on a scientific truth.
Neuroscience has shown that the brain makes no difference between what is real and imaginary.
So to face your fears, rather than confront you really, you will confront it in your mind, in an emotion that will be favorable to you: certainty.
Prepare your creativity, you will need it!
First, define an action that stresses you.
Take some time to think about something you would like to do, but so far you have not dared to do it because you were too shy, you were too scared of others, you did not have the confidence and the courage to do it.
You have no excuse, everyone has already experienced a situation where he saw an opportunity, but did not dare to seize it because he was afraid. Is it to approach a man or a woman? To say "I love you" to your children? To dare to go on a trip? To create your business?
Now define a specific action you want to do. Define only one.
You did it ? Good ! At the end of the article, take two minutes to do the following exercise.
Sit in a quiet place, then close your eyes.
Now, imagine that you are doing this action. You live this situation, as if you were there. Visualize the context as if you were really there.
Imagine that you had experienced this situation yesterday, with a small front camera in high definition, on the head. You have recovered the video, and you are currently viewing it in your mind. What do you see ?
Make sure to maximize the image, and make it as bright as possible. Do not view a still image, but instead, see motion, as if you are watching a movie whose main actor is you. Just the angle of view that does not change, we see the world according to your own glasses, in the first person.
It may seem difficult at first, but with a little practice, everyone will get there.
If you can not really do it, ask yourself a question: "If I did it like I was going to do it, what would I see? "
As you go, add little details that give realism to the event. Details of the decor, branches on the trees, windows on the houses, expressions on the faces.
Add also sounds, sounds of people who speak to you, but also external events: cars, birds, the sea. Also add your little inner voice that speaks to you. What does she tell you?
You are imagining this situation, but you really have to live this event, as if you were there in real life. Feel it all over your body. Feel the people who touch you, the wind blowing on you, your feet on the floor or your buttocks on a chair.
Now, connect to certainty. Everyone has already felt certain, at least once in their past. You know that emotion. This feeling of confidence, power, strength, invulnerability. Whatever you do, you were sure to do the right thing at the right time.
Breathe harder. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Give the video of the action that scared you at first, then revisit it, in this emotion of certainty. Vibrate this emotion, amplify it, make it more intense, more intense.
Feel unstoppable. Feel this power, this potential in you. You are confident and charismatic, you are comfortable in all circumstances.
As you revisit the video, you now act as if you had unlimited trust, as if nothing could stop you. Your behaviors have changed. Your gestures, your voice, the expressions on the faces of others, everything to change.
Everything you do now is fluid and consistent.
When you speak, you have an enthusiastic voice, full of life and confidence. The way you move your body reflects your authority. What do you feel ?
Generate a ball of extreme certainty in your belly that invades your whole body.
Once you reach this emotional sting, you can open your eyes again. Congratulations ! You have completed the exercise.
How can I overcome fear if I can not do the exercise?
This exercise is beyond you, is it too difficult for you?
Remember the power of your brain: it's more powerful than any computer! If you can view a video on YouTube, then you can also do it in your head, easily!
For this, it takes training. The more you do this exercise, the easier it will be for you to visualize.
Nobody taught you how to do it, so it's normal to row at the beginning. It's like when we start a sport, we are totally incompetent during the first sessions.
The brain is the same, it is muscle with training.
How to overcome fear: conclusion
The exercise will only work if you get enough intense emotion all over your body. The more intense the emotional intensity, the more the exercise will benefit you.
Always keep the same action, the same situation, every time you view. At each session, intensify your sense of certainty.
If you do this exercise for 2 minutes, 2 times a day, you will have your first results in less than a week. Then try to deal with this fear, and you will see for yourself that it will be much easier to get started.
I want to remind you that the only real way to overcome your fears is to confront them. The sole purpose of this exercise is to help you get started, and be more comfortable in the situation that was stressing you, and only for a specific action.
