Although we may all be in different places in our lives, not physically but emotionally or spiritually, we still are all on a quest for achieving goals in those areas. Many of the times these goals are very common. We want to be mentally healthy, sustain a clear conscious, and be happy. Sure, we may all want material things that are not in our reach or are only within our reach after long hard work and dedication, but if all of us were mentally healthy and happy, the world would be a much better place.
Being on that path towards health and happiness, we will need to go through changes, and the only one to be able to make that mental change is ourselves, no one can do it for us. We may be tried and tested by others, their contagious feelings (as talked about yesterday in my post), or even physically tested that has an impact on our mental health. Overall though, we are the ones that need to make that dedication to change ourselves, whether it be maintaining that path to happiness or actually MAKING that change, it is all up to us.
Making that initial change isn't the only hard part, it is maintaining it. If you are already healthy and happy, daily stressors can have a great impact on that. Of course, we all deal with those people on a daily basis that our jealous of others that are happy, and actually enjoy trying to change that.
So just remember, we empower ourselves not just to make that change, but to keep from changing.
