Tea Breaks:
Never hesitate to stop for Chai (Local Language, meaning "Tea") breaks every 100-150 kilometers.
It gives you time to relax after the tiring ride and also makes you alert for the next part of the ride.
You can also have a discussion about the ride so far and it helps in improving your riding style.
Ask your team mates to point out if you're doing any mistakes while riding. The person who is observing you from behind is in a better position to spot your mistakes (if any) easily, provided he's an experienced rider.
That's how you will improve, by taking inputs from skilled riders.
Since @firepower is an experienced rider, I used to ask him for inputs about my cornering, back in the days.
These Chai (Tea) stops make a ride more memorable.
The more the stops, the more you'll get to absorb the experience of the ride.
But make sure you don't stop too often for tea on very long rides as you would be having a lot of distance to cover and you may end up going fast at the end of the day to cover distances which may end up in a bad situation.
So, that's tip #1 from Riding Tips for a Memorable Ride Series.
Have a good day!
