Think about the movie Minority Report in which they're living in a future without murder in our nation's capitol because the "precogs" can see future crimes; but, we are throwing people in jail who having yet done anything wrong.
The science should be on the side of PreCrime. Shouldn't the logic be that you'll take one innocent person in prison if you can prevent fifty murders?
I say "no." That's also what the movie says.
No, you don't get to destroy an innocent life to save fifty others.
Think about your pro-lockdown arguments for a moment. Would you be a good guy or a bad guy in a Minority Report universe?
