Hey RecoveryINC.
I felt like I wanted to share some meta-conversation with you about how people could make money using a project based approach, rather than just by being curated by yourself.
It's that whole "Teach a Man to Fish vs. Give a man a Fish." thing.
I would have been far more interested in the show if you had gone into depth with Hive Hustlers, or if we had a more extended conversation and I felt like you really wrapped your head around what I am trying to do with my own business, and how other people can deconstruct that and use it for their own work.
There was a guy in there who was an Urban Fantasy Author, it would have been cool to hear about his journey --
But I don't want to hear about like the specifics of Urban Fantasy, for example, or even the specifics of song construction from that open mic song --
The song is cool, and the fiction publishing is cool.
What I think is way more interesting, would be constructing a sort of challenge for the songwriter to come up with a 5 song album.
The 5 Song Album could be monetized:
- HIVE - [VIMM livesteam AMA Post?]
- Kickstarter - Quickstarter
- Soundcloud - ?
- NFTshowroom MP4 - [Or ETH Cryptoart]
- LIVE in a concert.
- Patreon
The same project creates content which is channeled into all of those different places for monetization.
And then you get around the problem of constant extraction from HIVE.
The whole reason constant Powerdowns for financial extraction is a thing for people [like people in venezuela, and other economically challenged areas] - Is because they have had to become more economically creative to do what they want to do. USA citizens -- en bulk, just aren't that creative about things.
But the need from these places of comparative lower economic wealth -- and the need from places within the US where there is lower economic power -- causes a constant sell pressure on the HIVE that is accumulated and distributed to those people.
What ends up happening here, is that their mindset is sort of restricted to "Make a post, and monetize a post" -- Do it again -- I'm monetizing my passions.
Probably they Busk as well, and have some idea of recording something and maybe selling USB Sticks, or whatever the CD / Mixed Tape Equivalent is these days.
The solution here is turning their 'post on hive to monetize' into an actual legitimate creative business that interacts in a project based way within multiple economies.
Then, you have an audience which builds across multiple platforms [and potential new onboarding for HIVE].
And you have a greater wealth of economic opportunity from multiple platforms [which decreases sell pressure on HIVE and encourages more long term views on taking profit and staking.]
And you have project based thinking -- which creates "projects" not "Content" -- projects are more perennial in nature, and have a larger reward, whereas content is more fleeting, and the maximum value possible is not extracted from said content.
.:.
I really wanted to communicate that to you, and engage with you on those ideas in your show today - but I didn't feel like your engagement was that strong -- and also, I'm not sure that my ideas were clearly communicated, or that it was even the right platform.
If your show is just meant to be a curation of posts show, then I'm sure that's cool.
I won't be listening if that's the case. It's not personal.
I would be much more interested in listening if there was a sort of long form / challenge based discussion about how people can transform their hive posting into legitimate small // project based businesses for themselves, and their audiences.
Frankly, @HiveHustlers ought to be doing that development transition from hive posters into legitimate small businesses -- I don't know what you're 'hustling' unless it's some form of Bootstrapping 101.
.:.
This is an outstanding resource:
Beyond that, I've given an attempt to doing this with my own work, but each time I've done this, It hasn't really provided the fruit I'm looking for.
My attempts to do this are in my #bootstrapper blogs.

Basically, they are like experimental small business use cases for HIVE -- designed to challenge specific people to expand their thinking and project scope from the [post and payout] thinking to [multi-platform - multi-economy - project based] thinking.
I'm not sure if you think this is obnoxious or whatnot, but I'm sharing it with you anyways.
The most obvious solution for this whole thing is to continue to do this myself -- and push to do this more in the future with my own work.
It just seems like these 'glasses' // or 'toolset' as it were, might be a key that changes things for a lot of people here on HIVE -- and it seems like your program and @hivehustlers are trying to accomplish something similar to this.
So, I'm sharing my thoughts.
Enjoy.
