I had been patiently waiting for this Friday morning to come. What was I so anxiously anticipating, you ask? Well, not long ago, my current favorite rapper, Tom Macdonald, purchased an NFT from the one and only, the GOAT, Marshall Mathers, aka Slim Shady, aka Eminem.
The NFT was Em's beat Stan's Revenge, and Tom was going to drop it this morning, and he did.
Tom Macdonald wins Eminem’s “Stan’s Revenge” NFT through the highest bid.
Eminem recently collaborated with Nifty Gateway for his first NFT Release where the fans get to purchase some rare collectibles, including Trading Cards, Action Figures, and a lot more. The NFT drop also featured “Stan’s Revenge”, which included an original beat produced by the Detroit rapper himself, A Pair of Shady XV Air Jordan Carhartt 4s, SSLP20 Film Strip signed by Eminem, and a signed Vinyl of “Infinite”. This was an auction-based NFT, where the highest bidder will be able to take it home. Now Eminem’s “STAN’S REVENGE” NFT has been sold with a whopping $100,000 and it’s won by the rapper Tom MacDonald.

Tom being Tom though, he went the opposite direction of what the last guy that went after Slim did, and that was MGK (machine gun kelly).
You just don't diss the GOAT, it usually doesn't end well for you. MGK's rap was meh in my book, had some decent lines and pulled some punches, but it was no TKO that's for sure.
So instead of attacking Em, dissing him, ragging on him, trying to say he's the best compared to him....he does the exact opposite. Basically saying that if it wasn't for Em, Tom would have committed suicide, among other things.
Tom just keep surprising me and getting better and better every rap he puts out.
Not to mention.....he has no
-Manager
-Record label
-Agent
-Producer
-Professional recording studio
-Marketing
-Booking agent
-etc...
He is fully independent, just him and his girlfriend Nova, who makes all his videos and does one hell of an amazing job if you ask me.
So here it is, Tom's new song and video Dear Slim on the beat Stan's Revenge.
See if you can pick up on all the ways Tom used the old video to incorporate into his video, pretty creative and definitely one of his best works.
cue @dandays anti-Tom comment in 5, 4, 3... 🤣
