When I was in-between the end of my studies and the beginning of my new job, I picked up a few hobbies to find different ways of having fun and learning, and composing music was one of them. I'd picked up the Apple Pro Apps bundle while I was a student and while I'd played around with it a bit, I hadn't really gotten into the details until I finally had a chance to towards the end of last year.
In my new job I've had plenty of time to work with FCPX, but not so much with Logic, which was what I had actually really enjoyed during my break. Thanks to learning Logic, I got into submitting fan music for @splinterlands and it was nice to get involved with the community from that perspective as a fan of the game. But now I'm way busy again and while I still keep up with what the community of fans are sharing and producing, I myself have not had much of a chance to contribute.
In the meantime I wanted to put up some lofi hiphop stuff that has been written over several months. I've posted it up on Audius as a playlist and hope to add to it over time as I keep learning the software and grow as a composer.
The playlist is called "Do Your Exercise!" because the tracks were made as part of learning how to do things and 'exercising' the skills needed to make something that sounded nice and to navigate around the software.
Today's track is 002, and it has the feel of a really chill introductory track.

If there is a way to embed html in peakd that would be cool for me to know :) Otherwise we'll just have to make do with links.
Maybe in the future I'll stick something up on youtube as well.
