It’s not something that makes you cool
It’s not something that’s hip enough because it’s underground
It’s not something that would make you fucking hipsters so cool enough because you dig it despite its underrated nature
Unless you are musician and you can sound hardcore enough and at the same time, standout amongst millions of generic hardcore bands that sound awfully the same following almost the same formats, structures, beat downs blast beats
Why? Because creating a distinct sound yet following certain musical ethos of this offspring of “The BLUES” is practically hardcore enough to me
As an aspiring musician who’s already aware about those musical whatnots and stuff, standing out as a hardcore band in the hardcore scene through rigorous musical experimentation on rhythms and melodies is totally hardcore dude
Hardcore transcends music, it's more than that. Hardcore is essentially a state of mind and a way of life
The very essence of hardcore is basically stoicism, the Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) amidst all the struggles and the pain
In that sense we cannot be hardcore because we simply want to be one, we can never choose HARDCORE, HARDCORE chooses us, and that is only through our struggles and pain, there’s no other way around
As what everyone says, though it sounds cliché already, HARDCORE is a way of life. Therefore, one cannot be HARDCORE unless one lives the HARDCORE way
