InMe - Overgrown Eden
Label: Music for Nations
Genre: Alternative Rock
I don't know how popular British alt rock band InMe are worldwide, when looking things up for this post I noticed the Wikipedia page was a bit empty. For your aural pleasure, I present to you Overgrown Eden, the debut album from this underrated band. It was released in early 2003, and produced four singles both before and after it's release. Although originally signed to Music for Nations, this was the only album the band produced with this label due to its demise. The rights were snapped up by V2 Records and re-released in 2006.
The band are still very much active, although drummer Simon Taylor left the band late last year and was replaced by Tom Dalton. They have six full studio albums out so far, although Overgrown Eden is still my favourite of them all. For a good impression of what to expect from this album, give the first track Underdose a try, I've posted it below.
Have you ever heard of InMe? I'm curious to see how far in the world the band permeated. Also, what did you make of Underdose and the album it's from Overgrown Eden?
