Forgiving someone is very difficult, especially when someone has done something real bad to us.
Forgiveness is not something we do for others , but it is for our own self. It gives us peace of mind and keeps us away from anger and resentment for the offender.
It does mean we have removed all legal accountability from the offender neither does it excuse his or her actions. It is simply a method to remove our feeling of vengeance that we have for the person who has offended us.
It is important for us to forgive so that we move on in life, or else our life will always be stuck in the resentment, and we will never be able live our life.
I was betrayed by my partner, and I thought I will never be able to forgive. However as time passed by, I was able to find love again and I am living happily after that. So, I can firmly say, one way to forgive is to find love again and also to find your true value.
