Exiled Realms is a new organization that will make games for the Hive blockchain! We have set as our goal to provide the community with more fun and immersive games that everyone can enjoy. We believe that with the power of the Hive blockchain, we can create games that will be truly unique and exciting. We hope that you will support us in our endeavor to bring more fun and entertainment to the Hive community!
We are excited to announce our first project today. This project is a new product that we think is cool and should be made. We would love to get your feedback and the world's feedback on this project.
Introducing ...
Relmlings will be NFT Battling game based, loosely based on traditional card games that are played online. Collect, trade, and battle NFT card assets to earn in-game currency.
Sure, that sounds nice, but the details are what will make it unique and fun! YEA, so, Buckle up, and let's talk about what the vision is, where we are at, who is involved, and how you can help.
What the vision is.
In short, it is an autobattling NFT collectible card game utilizing the Hive blockchain!
Let's break it out more...
Player-owned NFT Relmling cards will be assigned random(ish) stats and attributes on minting to battle against other player-owned NFTs.
Each Relmling card (except a few) will be randomly(ish) generated based on various armor components. This will make unique Relmlings with many unique one-off appearances or stats and different rarity levels, making some more valuable than the others depending on the armor combinations.
The game will have 13 lands; each land has eight armor parts, five stats and four levels of rareness. In summary, uniquely one-of-a-kind cards you can battle, collect, trade, and brag about!
The initial run will be 14,000 unique NFTs. The first Relmling set will be a “Fighter” class. We will then do another run for another type of character, slowly building up many unique Relmling that players own, and then play, battle, and trade.
The main overall goal of the game is to Min-max your NFT card stats using Action Points (AP) in Combat, along with buffs and what Realm the battle happens in, to win treasure tokens, and more!

Currently, we are working on making the 2d into 3d and are rocking with that goal.
The Relmlings for sale will be a mixture of armor and backgrounds from the 13 lands above, along with the stats. Here are a few examples of test runs we have completed.

Citizen Bonus
If the armor is composed of at least 4 of the same parts of the land, and the arena of combat is in that land, a “Citizen Bonus” is added on that is unique. A card can have up to 2 “Citizen Bonus”.

We have also started to expand the team further to flesh out the needs we have.
The timeline
We aim to have the NFT market up and sales to start in 2 months - by January at the latest - but we hope sooner as time allows.
The bottleneck is just in funding. The artist needs to work a full-time job (*as do the other developers too). If there is significant interest, however, timelines can be moved up.
Open-source vision for the game
We want to make all the game's code and assets open-source after launch.
Open source is essential for many reasons. It allows for collaboration and peer review, leading to higher-quality software. It also allows anyone to contribute to and improve software, making it more widely used and less likely to have security vulnerabilities.
We see that the value of the NFTs should not be tied to our projects, and we want to empower users to make their versions of the game. When we open-source the game, other developers can branch the code and make games that use players' NFTs.
If a developer makes a game that is unique and fun, we will put that game up for a vote to be included as an official Exiled Realms game expansion. When it is, we would then enable that game to hand out treasure tokens $TT for play, and the developer would earn a commission as well on tokens earned.
The assets that would be open-sourced would be the 3D assets, the code base, and more.
This way, many unique games and ideas can be explored and developed!
That brings us to the next point. Who is making this?
Who is involved?
In a world of online scams and fraudsters, it's essential to know who is involved in a project to trust them.
Currently, the team is composed of 4 people. All of whom we will talk about in due time. But for today, the founder of the game.
The founder and concept artist for the game is @jacuzzi
@jacuzzi has been a member of Steem and, more importantly, Hive since it took its first steps. He has been and still is involved with D.Buzz (@dbuzz) as a content author and strategist for the last three years. Before this, he owned and operated a circus in the USA and worked in video games and in films as a 3D artist and concept artist.
We also have on the team:
- A lead strategist and marketer!
- A 3D model and artist!
- (Recently) a Hive developer!
What is the Plan to Bring this to Market?
Our leader strategist is well-connected with the Vietnamese gaming and NFT markets. We plan to utilize this connection to help with initial NFT sales when we get to that point.
Bearing successful NFT sales (success will be if 35% or more of the cards are sold), we will then take the project to the next phase, hire a marketing team and developers, and push the project to the next phase of development.
