Hi steemians!
I am back with my best shots from Day 3 of my visit to Kathmandu,Nepal .These were the last few hours in Kathmandu as my trip was coming to an end and we had only 5 hours left to board our bus for Birganj.I instantly searched about any tourist destination around which we could cover in this short time.Boudhanath stupa excited me the most from the list of places left to explore so me and @sillentkiller went straight ahead to visit this place and spend some time in peace at the buddhist monasteries(there were quit a few).The weather was awesome with clear sky and the sun out ,perfect for photography.The long prayer flags and several ghee diyas were making the environment clean and the calm mantras of 'Om Mani padme hum'playing in the background at the shops were taking it to the next level,an experience I cant explain in words.We visited 'sechen monastery' and 'white gumba' also along with the beautiful market around boudhanath.
