I will try to make it brief, I was probably a few hours away from death and this event happened to me 4 years ago.
I remember this day like it was yesterday, I was relaxing watching a movie and eating some good pizza, I remember I was eating like a pig and was so enjoying it. At some point I just ate too much and felt some pain. My belly had me feel confused, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to the bathroom because I ate too much or It was simply a temporary pain that would go away after a good night of sleep.
That night was painful, turning right and left all over my bed changing position every 2 minutes. It had me feel very uncomfortable but I still blamed it at my food thinking I ate too much and that at some point I would feel the need to go to the toilet and that I would end up feeling better. I noticed how the pain was mostly felt in the lower right side of my belly but I decided to keep going with my main logic and just managed to go trough the night. It was a hard night.
I managed to fall asleep and ended up waking up 3 hours later, I was feeling a bit better and it had me think everything was alright. But It wasn't! trough the day the pain intensified, I came back home feeling dizzy, jumped on my bed closed my eyes felt asleep woke up covered all in sweat.
At this point I was in so much pain, it barely took me 5 minute to reach my car and ended up in the hospital. I am from Canada/Montreal and hospitals here are probably the worst, after waiting 5 hours to see a doctor, he examine me for 2 min and sent me home prescribing me some anti-inflammatory medicine. I was still all sweating, he had no idea how It felt inside me.
While walking out his door, I fainted completely lost consciousness. Next thing I know I'm in the radiology room, my eyes barely open , hearing voices in a lightly tone , feeling like i'm about to pass away again then I hear the doctor say prepare the room asking me to stay with them, to keep my eyes opened. I remember my heart pulse going so fast, I was sweating like crazy. The appendicitis exploded within my body spreading the infection slowly but hopefully the operation came in time. I've been in a recovery state for 3 weeks feeding on fluids only and ended losing around 25 pound! ( that was the only good part lol)
If you ever feel some pain in the lower right side of your belly, do not wait any longer. The appendicitis is a useless piece of meat in your body, but once it gets infected if not treated early enough can be as dangerous as anything else. Usually this operation is done quickly, the recovery rate is done within 1-2 days when treated early. Usually when the appendicitis explode and allow the infection to spread for too long into your body, it's basically too late.
Do not hesitate to see your doctor if you feel something is wrong!
