The Treecreeper is a small bird with a curved beak mostly found in woodland. The Treecreeper is one of the strangest birds you'll see. When you see one from a distance working its way up the trunk of a tree you'll thinks its some kind of rodent or large mouse. This bird is very well camouflaged and the way it climbs up the tree looks strangely rodent like.
The Treecreeper is native to the northern hemisphere but very rarely seen.
They eat insects and spiders but will also eat seeds.
Nests are usual or unusually built behind a flap of bark or a split in a tree trunk. They lay 5-6 eggs which is not always a great thing when the chicks grow and overflow the nest.
