It's Here!!!!!!
My whole life living in California, I dreamed of seeing this.....Right here.....Autumn in New England!!! I moved here 5 years ago, and still, every year at this time is like opening a Christmas present from the earth. I anticipate this very moment every August as I watch the leaves begin to change. This barn above, I snapped from the car window going about 40 miles an hour. I was surprised it wasn't blurry. However, there are no bad pics of Fall in New England. That is how absolutely beautiful it is here this time of year.
This one did blur a bit, but you can still see the "painted colors" that are starting to emerge.
This is next to Mt. Orne covered bridge. You can see the mix of greens, yellows, and reds. I love this time because the trees that are still green lend a certain accent to the experience.
Peak will be in just a few short weeks, I almost want this phase to last.
I love the pics that have foreground.....framed by nature to give you perspective. How can we relate that to life? How do we view things that appear to be in our way? Maybe if we look at obstacles as part of the big picture, maybe we can find the beauty in them.
I was actually saving this for another post, but this church is next to the covered bridge where Derrick and I will be married in a few weeks. I couldn't resist sharing the view here.......
Blessings to all for an awesome week!!!
