Combat Is Extremely like PSO2's current combat system, down to PSO2 Meseta the firearms, Photon Arts and Photon Blasts. It is only quicker, more portable and smoother. There are no longer Perfect Attacks; rather, it is more like contemporary action games with combos and counterattacks. Dodging and blocking is liquid for all classes also. Certain classes may see a difference in drama. There is no longer attacking from the air indefinitely, therefore expect to be on the ground more dodging and countering. Attacks and PAs are set up the exact same manner they are now with specific buttons performing particular strikes or the 1-2-3 system. So far as PB's go, since Mag's will not be a part of gameplay anymore, they behave more like Sophisticated Photon Arts, which have been released in Japan's PSO2 with Episode 6. Rather than summoning a creature, PB's will rather be a massive attack dealing serious damage that should be recharged through battle.
Of those three courses they showed, Force had a few of the biggest changes. They finally have a block much like Hunters on top of their dodge, and it can be a much-needed addition since they may be delicate and slowed by Technique charging. Techniques have also gotten better in that they no longer must get billed to use. They finally have an uncharged strike that, although not as powerful as the charged variant, still does some fantastic damage.
Another great change is that healing items may be used on the fly. No more getting stuck in a beverage cartoon hoping to cure only to be promptly smacked and lose all of it without a thing you can do about it. Healing will happen instantaneously in NG at the same time you do more important things, such as dodging. Overall, the battle is receiving a much-needed update while still feeling perfectly comfortable.
In Episode 5, after the aid of these on Earth, players find that a mysterious portal that results in another dimension, called"Omega." This world appears driven purely by fantasy, a world of swords and magic instead of science and technology. The two worlds are in direct contrast with each other, and as the story progresses, players will often move between them while observing the strange similarities these worlds discuss. Simultaneously, a mysterious woman who calls herself"Alma" appears, and she appears to get advice about Omega and--strangely--about ARKS.
Episode 5 attracts a great deal of new material and features such as increasing the player level limit to 90, fresh ARKS missions and areas to buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta explorenew enemy types, new pursuit types with new rewards, new seasonal events, new Alliance Quarters, and more. Photon Art and Technique levels will grow, and additional Photon Art, Techniques, and Battle Arena weapons will probably be added.
