2K says that the unskippable ads contained in NBA 2K were executed in a way the publisher"didn't intend," and the error"will be fixed." In a statement on NBA 2K21 MT Twitter, the business addressed backlash into how adverts were contained in its latest release. Earlier this week, players noticed an unskippable ad for your Oculus Quest two before an in-game videogame. That ad appeared to run through a loading screen, but had been exactly the exact same length even when running from an SSD to a PC (through Stevivor). Players criticised 2K for the advert, with many noting that it was appearing in a full-priced title.
In reaction, 2K reminded players that adverts"have been integrated into 2KTV segments" for a few decades, but said that"yesterday 2KTV advertisement placement influenced our players' experience in ways we didn't intend, as these ads are not meant to operate within their pre-game introduction." As a result, the problem"will be repaired in future episodes," although there is no word on exactly when the change is going to be implemented. Crucially, it will not sound as though the adverts will actually be moving away. 2K points out that they've been in place for a while already, and that the issue here appears to be in which the ad showed up, not the fact that it had been there in the first place. Hopefully the placements will be more subtle in future, but it looks like in-game ads are set to be part of the NBA 2K games for a while yet.
That functionality appears like its own worthy of a Pink Diamond, at least. Also, the day after Jordan registered the triple-double from the Warriors, he also scored his second-most points in Cheap NBA 2K MT Coins one regular-season match against a rookie Shaquille O'Neal, former Bulls head coach Scott Skiles and the Orlando Magic. On the second half of a back-to-back, Jordan had 64 points, but the Bulls lost the match in 128-124.
