Q&A with CEO Rohan Juneja of Nebula Exchange.

Question & Answers
Q: How and when did you get introduced to Blockchain and when did you invest in it for the first time?
A: I first heard about Blockchain from a friend in mid-2016 while doing my MBA but didn't give much thought to it. It was in August 2017 that I first started doing some real research to understand it better and I was invested in it before the end of the month.
Q: There are many smart and very knowledgeable people working in this space. Who is the person you look most up to among them all?
A: I really admire the work Tricia Martinez, Founder of Getwala and her team are doing. Seeing someone use Blockchain to solve some very real problems instead of just focusing on building their personal brand and wealth is a pleasant change.
Q: Google, Facebook, Twitter and more are banning cryptocurrency ads. Do you see this as a positive or negative?
A: I definitely see this as a negative. Not only does it stop legitimate businesses from reaching their audiences, it gives this entire industry the undeserving tag of being dodgy. While this is absolutely not justified, the reality is that it will impact the willingness of your average Joe to enter this space.
Q: Countries are starting to regulate the cryptocurrency market. What are your thoughts about regulations?
A: Regulations almost always follow innovation. The internet, autonomous vehicles, cryptocurrencies, and pretty much all tech inventions big and small are an example of this. That said, regulation does not have to be a negative influence on this sectors growth. Thoughtful regulation aimed at weeding out fraudulent schemes and educating the public without stifling innovation can go a long way in boosting this space.
Q: What does it feel like working with a potentially big cryptocurrency project?
A: It's really amazing to be working on a project that you're passionate about. Everyday is exciting and brings something new, either good or bad. But there is also immense pressure that builds out of the fear of not making the most of a good opportunity and the key is figuring out how to use this pressure as a motivator and not let it bog you down.
Q: Blockchain is in a very early beginning and still new to many people. When do you think it will get mainstream and what needs to be done to achieve that?
A: I think there are various way to look at this. If we talk about blockchain touching peoples lives in way one or the other, I think it'll happen in the next 2-3 years as leading tech companies and governments figure out how to best use blockchain for their purposes. If we are talking about buying and selling of cryptocurrencies for investment purposes, I think we're further away. It's still too volatile as an asset and there are still very few initiatives to educate investors properly in the space.

About Nebula Exchange
Nebula Exchange was founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the project Chaintrade. It aims to be the worlds first exchange to trade security tokens. They are currently doing a private sale and public sale to raise money to be able to buy the license to trade security tokens and to expand the team further.
The exchange is very community focused and launches systems for news, reviews, reputations, ranks, referrals, P2P-messaging and trollbox chat. And they charges 0 % trading fee until the community is happy with the exchange.
One of the biggest challenges for new and upcoming cryptocurrency projects are to get listed on exchanges. The investors demands top tier exchanges, while the projects can’t afford to list when it costs up to $4 000 000 USD to get listed. Nebula Exchange launched the exchange this week on 8th May and has already listed near 50 different projects, and all of them has ETH, USDT, and EURT pairings which is rare. In addition to this they will add Bitcoin pairs, fiat pairs such as JPY and KRW to begin with, and introduce Margin trading with up to 10 x leverage on some of the pairings.

Utility and Buy-back
Users can pay transaction fee with NESC token and get a 50 % discount in fee. Transaction fee’s collected in NESC tokens will be burned.
Every new project which lists on Nebula Exchange will have to pay the fee with NESC tokens. The fee from listings fell be burned by Nebula Exchange.
Nebula Exchange will do a buy-back of NESC tokens every quarter by using 25 % of their profits and burn the tokens. They will announce the buy-back beforehand.
The burning of NESC tokens will happen until only 50 % of the total token supply are left.
By doing burning of NESC tokens the value will bring a bigger demand for tokens that are left. A bigger demand might increase the token price for NESC and give the investors a good potential of a decent return on their investments. Other known cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance do buybacks quarterly by using 20 % of their profits. Nebula Exchange is using 5 % more, and they are in addition burning the collected trading fee and listing fee paid with Nebula Exchange Star Credits tokens, so the total token supply might decrease very fast.
Design
Nebula Exchange has separated themselves from many of the existing cryptocurrency exchanges with their innovative and exciting design. From before we have seen many of the exchanges copying each others design, while Nebula Exchange goes their own way creating a smooth design with the universe background combined with beautiful colors and a very user friendly design.
Users of the exchange have given very welcoming feedback about the design and it seems like they welcome a new type of cryptocurrency exchange which dares to go in their own direction.
