After being absent for a long time I'm back to brighten up your holidays (if you have some).
Some time ago already I crocheted a mushroom (fly agaric) and a rose hip, they're both on my steemit blog. Now there is finally the third friend, the acorn! These three friends are the autumn gang, the patterns for them are from lalylaland (you can find @lalylaland on Instagram for example)
The cap/hat of this cute acorn can be removed __

The thread/wool I used for it is "Catania" from Schachenmayr. The eyes are safety eyes, that means they have a thread and nut like a screw, so they can't be pulled out (accidently), which makes it a safe toy for kids.
The "eye shadow" is made with a usual red crayon, if you wet it a little bit you can create a sort of watercolor.
