In her eyes she did no wrong but simply gave Jason at the very least what he deserved
Early in my career I came across and read a fascinating book called "My Six Convicts". It detailed the work of a prison psychiatrist and it was so compelling that regardless of their crimes, the convicts were able to justify their actions while simultaneously condemning their fellow prisoners for their crimes.
So a thief, for instance, would say "I only stole to be able to eat...at least I didn't kill anyone like "Joe". And "Joe" would say, "I only defended myself, I never intentionally took anything that someone else worked hard for"
It was these types of justifications that I would hear over and over and over again throughout my career. Understanding that most people have an inability for clear self-analysis helped me to better understand society in general.
Great post! $PIMP
