Go on a journey through time a space in the sacred hidden land of the Yolmo Snow Enclosure in Nepal.
Experience some of the sacred sites in the area, from Guru Rinpoche’s self arisen Sun and Moon cave, to the caves of Yeshe Tsogyal and Milarepa, through the eyes of pilgrims arriving there for the first time.
Working with an original soundtrack, this artistic interpretation is intended to be a felt experience, inspired by the energy and feeling of being there, the profound history of the place and the great beings who graced it.
Featuring footage from two short visits made to this beyul, one before and one after the infamous earthquake of 2015, the film also includes some commentary from Khenpo Nyima Dondrup, author of the Guide to the Hidden Land of the Yolmo Snow Enclosure and its History.
