And I say similar skin color because in the highest point of American slavery less than 1.5% of whites actually owned slaves. So, all hatred towards white Americans ancestors has over 95% chance of being directed against some poor peasants or beggars that had nothing to do with slavery. You can try to make the case that white peasants of the 19^th century could have done something with their white privilege to free the black slaves. But then you remember that they were poor and uneducated to even considered the possibility that their society was somehow fucked up.
