What’s with the long stories?

I’m new to this platform. Looks cool and all, but what’s with all the long stories? I mean do people really read though them? I was bored after reading one paragraph in some of these posts. People need to keep it short, keep it simple.

On the flip side, I do a podcast on blockchain and crypto and I found esteem browsing social media dapps? Can I have your insights on what you like and dislike about this esteem? I need to play with it some more, but I think it’s a game changer for sure.
