The first thing to ask is: how big box do I really need? The size of the growing space determines the area covered by your light. The height of the space determines the variety of your plant (sativa - higher height, indica - medium, ruderalis or autoflowering - lower height). Space must have an opening for fresh air entry, and one for air exit.

It is necessary to monitor temperature and humidity in space. Optimal values are: temperature 27 ° C, humidity about 60% in vegetation and 40% in flowering.
The interior of the space must be coated with some material for better reflection of light:

- Mylar foil - reflection 95%
- Black & White foil - reflection 85%
- White mat color - reflection 80%
- Aluminum foil - reflection 75%
PC cabinets, cabinets, boxes, refrigerators can be used for growing space, and there are also ready-made tents for breeding. Mostly the possibilities are endless and depend only on your imagination, but If you do not have it simply buy a finished product.
Basic Combat Kit
Box with relevant parts
If you are makeing box alone, pay attention to the electricity part. Buy high-quality cables, be careful to tighten the joints properly. Pay attention to quality and efficiency of ventilation.
Soil
Always buy quality soil provided in well-stocked stores.Let it be airy and curly to make the right mix.
Pots
Properly developed and larger root system will give higher yield. So do not be concerned about the size of the pot until it fits into the box.
Ph meter
The most important part that is necessary for growing equipment. Without it, there is the possibility of incorrectly consuming nutrients from the soil, which can lead to persecution.
Thermo/Hydrometer
Device for measuring air temperature and humidity. Always measure the temperature at the top of the plant. Keep the temperature and humidity levels close to the optimal values. The day/night difference should not be higher than 10 degrees. A low degree of moisture attracts insects that love dryness, while high can cause mold in the flowering stage.
Timer
If you do not want to switch on and off ventilation and the clock every day, get yourself a regular mechanical timer or a digital multi-channel programmable timer it is your choice.
Fertilizer set
There is no good yield without a proper nutrition, therefore you need to get quality fertilizers for vegetation stage and bloom stage, you can also use various stimulation products but that is always up to you. Here you need to decide whether you want to grow organically or not my advice is to always go for the organic solution.
Soil

A quality bought soil is sterile, contains everything that is essential for your plant growth and development. Choose some of the best quality brands to avoid many problems with pests and weeds and later on to start with nutrition. Some of the better-known types of soil are : Terramagma, Composana, Klassman Potgrond, Terra Brill, AgroCZ etc. Buy a soil for a flourishing plants or universal. Garden soils, as well as those for citrus, orchid, cactus, palm trees etc. must be avoided.

Air

Light
For a healthy growth of plants, there are two types of light spectrum: blue and red. The blue spectrum is used in the vegetation stage and red in the flowering stage. Though both of the two phases you can mix spectrums (in the vegetation of more blue, less red, and in the flowering of more red and less blue spectrum) you will not be mistaken if whole cultivation is done with HPS bulb or red spectrum too. Bulbs with a blue spectrum have a designation of 6500 K and with a red 2200 K.

The best choice for growing are so-called HID bulbs: MH - Metal Halide and HPS - High-Pressure Sodium or Sodium Lamp. These lamps require a special ballast and starter. MH bulbs have a blue spectrum and are used for vegetation. HPS bulbs have a red spectrum and are used for flowering.
CFL or light bulbs are less hot than HID bulbs, but they give fewer lumens and are not inexpensively questionable for their usability. Possible for smaller spaces. They do not require any additional equipment such as a ballast or a starter.

Fluorescent tubes are also less usable in terms of a lumen, but they are good for beginnings and for vegetation.

There are other types of lighting, but I will not look at them in this guide. HID bulbs require special cooling with ventilation, while those CFL or Fluo can be carried out without cooling. It is also necessary to use a reflector so the light does not slip in the unwanted direction.
