What an amazing last 2 days it has been... I'm finally getting caught up from the surge that happened from so many people in response to the #newbieresteemday initiative. I'm not 100% there, but I'm close enough to be on my last thread now (I was on what seemed like 20 all tangled together) hahaha
I have been in touch with so many people and the response is amazing as I'm sure you're aware. @mudcat36 and I have been moving at light speed trying to keep up with all the interest in everything from logo contests to new digital tokens that will be created to reward our members for their efforts to make this initiative successful.
I also want to clear up one thing that it appears we didn't do a good enough job explaining in the beginning... The #newbieresteemday initiative is far more than just resteeming posts for the newbies... That is just one of the many many ways we plan on helping the newbies to get on their feet and become successful. Trust me, there is so much more we are going to be doing, that I am 100% sure you will love the direction its heading.
If you care about helping the newbies get on their feet and get started, then you will see a way (that suits you) to make that happen. We all have different skills, tastes, dreams, phobias, and even motivations. There is a place for you if you sincerely care about making the steemit community an even better place to be.
More details are on the way soon (tomorrow hopefully I will get fully caught up), and then look for some very exciting and fun ways that we can work "together" in a way that fits you unique.
If you haven't noticed by now, I only do things in my life that I consider to be FUN... I can do them relentlessly because I love having fun!!! So have no fears about this project becoming a 3rd job for you, that will never happen. Life is too short to not enjoy what you do, and I plan on #newbieresteemday to be just a start on the most enjoyable experience you could've ever imagined.

I am so lucky to have made so many great friends and connections in such a short period of time and I'm truly humbled to work beside you all as my teammates.
