---About the coin

Litecred was created in January 2016. The main purpose of it is to be the next Litecoin. So we have to know what Litecoin tries to do, and even if I'm gonna talk about it in full details in another post, here is a quick summary: it is first of all open-source, meaning its code can be modified and completed anytime by anyone in order to improve it. Then its near-zero cost payments are of course a real asset. Its improved storage efficiency and the fact it's decentralized are the other advantages. If Litecoin's initial aim was to be a more flexible payment alternative to Bitcoin, Litecred's goal is get to another level of flexibility.

Litecred's main difference with Litecoin is the fact its development has been self-funded so far: developers get 10% for each minted block. Both the PoW and PoS mechanisms underpin the blocks' creation as its ambitious project plans to use both of them in an interesting combination. PoW (Proof of Work) means many miners compete in order to solve mathematical problems linked with the creation of a given block. It is opposed to the Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism where there is less energy spent in calculation because the creator of the new block is chosen. For more details, see this article:

The interesting thing about this combination is the fact they begin with the PoW mechanism in order to generate the first blocks (maximizing the energy in order to launch the project), and after a time, when enough blocks are generated, they go on with the PoS mechanism in order to reduce energy costs.

Litecred is unfortunately still in its creation phase, so I struggled to find valuable information. Indeed, they are still looking for promoters and talented developers in order to keep their project alive. Their source code page is not yet available on github, and their main site has not been created yet.

Though it is possible to trade it or purchase it on yobit.net and C-CEX.com.

-it has kept struggling in its early development phase: it only oscillated between 0.00001 and 0.00008$ (apart from what we can call a little anomaly in March 2016) until April 2017.

-then it finally begins rising up, but ends up oscillating again in a second transition period, this time between about 0.0001$ and 0.001$ until the end of October 2017.

-during a brief moment on November 1st 2017, it even got to 0.002$, after coming back to its initial oscillations. You'd have to wait until December 4th 2017 to finally witness the real burst that led to it gaining 4 times its value to reach more than 0.008$ on December 11th 2017.

-it didn't stay there for long though, it had big oscillations between 0.004 and 0.008$ until December 20th 2017.

From then on, it steadily went from 0.002$ to 0.004$ right now.

---What I think about it

This is maybe one of the coins requiring you to be the most patient. It can have phases when you just think it is worthless holding into it. But once it rises up, you can definitely make profit. Let's look at the topic from another angle: if we suppose you had bought the coin before April 2017, you would have made a "factor-100" profit right now (10 000$ in LTCR if you put 100$ at the beginning).

Well of course this is easier said than done, but it's only about analyzing coins and trying to get new lessons from what happened. I'm seeing this coin as another interesting opportunity to make profit in the incoming years. When you buy it, just don't expect it to rise up in the following weeks. Put it in a safe place, wherever you can, in a hardware wallet (USB or ledger) or in a safe online wallet (like blockchain.info that I recommend). Then wait for it to grow.

It's all about seeing the right time to sell it. It is only at 0.004$ right now so of course there is plenty of room to grow, meaning lots of profit yet to be made ! You have to take into account the developing team are motivated to bring that project to the end and end up overrunning Litecoin.

Well there's still plenty of time for both Litecoin and Litecred to manage rising up more and more. But I guess first Litecoin has to make the important breakthrough we've been waiting for so long. Then Litecred will be able to build on that kind of progress in order to improve itself and eventually manage to overrun it, thus an important burst.

Let's try to predict it ! I don't usually like making predictions, but if I had to play this game, I would say as it took roughly 8 months for its value to be multiplied by 100, it could require at least another 8 months if you buy it right now. So maybe next September, or next October it will be at the level you want it to be to make that huge profit. But again, this is only about using my intuition on this particular coin analysis, I have no guarantee as well. I'm assuming it will keep on growing with the same pace too, so maybe it will have that burst earlier. So much the better anyway.

The only strategy is about multiplying your opportunities to make big profit. Don't focus on one coin. This is again one possibility among others. Diversify your portfolio. There are more than 1450 coins, some disappearing, some being created, and this happens every single day. So the key is to keep studying them hard, stay humble and try to make the wisest moves you can ! Especially in order to get things at the lowest possible price and selling them at the highest possible price. I will soon make a post linked with the best purchasing sites.
