Has Youtube Gone Too Far With Censorship?

As I'm sure many of you have heard by now, YouTube is planning an update in the next few days. It’s update to "fight terror content online,” or at least that what it starts out talking about. then it quickly moves on to what YouTube calls “controversial” ideas. These new policies are designed to shut down the growing independent media outlets and critics that are replacing mainstream media. These new policies will allow YouTube to HIDE AND DEMONETIZE videos that don't even violate any of it's policies. This is extremely bad for independent thought and development.

Here's the reality, Alphabet the parent company of Google owns YouTube. It's very clear that they are heavily democratic and corrupt leftists as proven by their altering of search results during the election to make Hillary Clinton more favorable. Should YouTube policies supersede the constitution and the right to free speech? Should what YouTube is doing be classified as illegal? Is it time we tried to get people to go to another platform, and if so what platform?
