A life Saving Device
The Bebop Pro Thermal is a compact multipurpose quadcopter with integrated solutions that aide in construction and rescue services. This new drone costs 1500 dollars and the package includes 3 batteries a sky controller and a backpack. This drone is lightweight weighing only 604 grams and has a flight time of 25 minutes.

The new Bebop comes equipped with a Forward looking infrared (FLIR) Thermal Camera that can be used for Construction purposes such as building and roof inspection to identify thermal heat loss.

It also has applications for search and rescue that can help first responders quickly identify people stuck under debris or lost in the wilderness.

I'm pretty stoked on this bad boy since it can revolutionize many different industries like construction, Search and Rescue, Firefighting, Agriculture and could even be a hunters best friend. But as with pretty much anything that can be used for good there will always be somebody that uses it for the wrong purposes.
New Tool For Criminal Activity
It's no secret that cops have used infrared for some time now but recently with the advent of cheap drones criminals are beginning to take a page out of law enforcements playbook.
Tech Savvy criminals in the UK have been using drone technology equipped with Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) technology to spot marijuana grow houses from the sky.

These Criminals would then either confront the owners and threaten them or rob the house while they are away.
There haven't been many instances of this technology being used by criminals since it takes a bit of tech savvy to build one of these drones but now they won't have to.
The Bebop Pro Thermal gives criminals a completely assembled drone that works out of the box to be used for their nefarious activity.

It's hard to say if there will be an explosion of robberies thanks to this new technology but one thing is certain, robbing grow houses just got a whole lot easier.
